New FDA Ruling on Using Baby Teething Gels

The FDA has issued new recommendations to avoid using a topical  prescription anesthetic, oral viscous 2% lidocaine, in infants and children with teething pain.  They released this new recommendation after several cases of severe adverse reaction to the teething remedy in babies.  If your baby is starting to get their first teeth and you would like some advice on managing pain, contact our office today for more information.  To read more, check out the Forbes article here.
